Step 1: Balancing Concept and Feasibility
Working closely to understand client’s needs, illuminating concerns, estimating the project time
and cost, and working out the feasibility.
Skyline knows how important it is to understand a client’s vision, that is why it is our goal to align ourselves to your needs from the very beginning – It is paramount that our client is at ease regarding any design worries, and directional concerns. Our reputation in the construction industry has joined us to myriad designers and architects, and we’re confident that we can connect you with the right combination to complement your needs. We leverage our experience in balancing accurate project estimates with design choices to give you a precise idea of what’s possible.
Step 2: Planning the Project
Formulating the scope of the project; pinning down all estimates; complete resource planning; generating thorough permit processing packet.
It is time to develop our scope. A working budget is drawn, and we proceed to outline the tasks, schedules, and the proficiencies that set the parameters of the project. From this we gather an estimate of resource requirements, as well as their delivery, and assemble a complete permit packet. Quality assurance measures are devised and the project moves forward.
Step 3: Execution
We build. Skyline manages all aspects of project construction; materials and contracts are arranged; change orders accounted for.
The project has matured into the realization stage. The necessary materials are ordered, and the right sub-contractors are brought onboard; Skyline manages each and every process from beginning to end. The execution stage brings together the appropriation, coordination and the handling of materials, human resources, contracts, costs, and all change orders. The conception of the project is the product of this stage.
Step 4: Control
This step is carried out simultaneously with Step 3 and includes an on-going assessment of all aspects of the project in order to ensure faithfulness to the outlined project plan.
Running parallel to execution, it is a calibrated process in which monitoring of the project requires that we measure our progress in relation to budget, effort, and scope, to gauge where we should be. It is here that we are extra vigilant in bringing the project in conformity with our project plans; tending to the budget and specifications of all contracts. This is a continuous process that looks to correct errors, keep the project updated, and adjusted for the benefit of end-users.
Step 5: Closeout
Conclusion of the project; the client is invited through a thorough walkthrough; Punch List prepared and mediated; organizational and client contracts are settled; Skyline team capitalizes on lessons learned.
In the final stage, we invite our client to a complete walkthrough of the project; the project is nearing closeout with the preparation and mediation of a full punch list, from which all errors and deficiencies are brought to exact conformity. Organizational closeout materializes with payments of all outstanding invoices, the settling of all project contracts, and the reception of a final permit – we present the client with a budget report and proceed to client-side contract closeout. With the successful completion of the project, we gather our team to capitalize on lessons learned.
